Anita de Waard(Iris's mom) presents...
On Friday, Iris's mom, Anita de Waard, inspired the scientist in all of us! Anita helped students to connect our current study of matter to our previous study of forces and motion with demonstrations involving 'liquid nitrogen'. Best of all, she ignited curiosity in Team Couloir students.Thank you Anita.

Anita: Thank you for demonstrating the fascinating properties of superfluid helium (and other very cold materials) to the class. The demolition of the frozen marshmallow peep was obviously a hit. Nora was eager to share at home all she had seen. It led to some interesting dinner conversation!
