Breakout EDU- Electricity and Magnetism

Today, students took part in a 'Breakout EDU' designed specifically to support their learning about 'how electricity and magnetism are related'. Students were thoroughly engaged and excited. Thank you to our Technology Integrationist, Renee Barrett for helping to organize this opportunity. Be sure to ask your child about it! Students were successful and 'broke out!'.

Painting the provinces

Students were 'painting the provinces ' today. They based their art on a book by Ted Harrision who is known for his picture books and artwork of Canada. We will be traveling to Ottawa on May 11th and 12th.

Studying Evaporation

Team Couloir visited 'End-O-Road Maple' in Jericho on Friday to learn about evaporation. The Neill Family was very welcoming and shared lots of knowledge with or students.  The snacks and sheep were especially popular!

Team Couloir and Team Momentum Science Fair

BRMS was buzzing about the Team Couloir and Team Momentum Science Fair today. The quality and originality of the projects was outstanding. All projects will remain on display until Wednesday. Please take some time if you are in the building for the play this weekend, to swing into the cafeteria to see the wonderful projects.
