Engineering Task

Last week, students carried out an engineering task of designing a culvert to withstand increased rainfall events. This was the culminating activity for our study of Earth's Systems. In this unit,  students explored why we are experiencing more water in our atmosphere and how this is impacting individuals and societies. Many students were able to connect to local events of increased rainfall and the impact those events had on our roads.
